Maine Savings believes that no one should go hungry, thats why we participate each year in the Maine Credit Union Leagues Campaign for Ending Hunger. We have raised over $150,000 since 2011 and plan to raise over $30,000 in 2018. All funds go to local food banks and other organizations that provide meals and goods to the homeless and the hungry.
There are very few people who have not been affected by cancer. For some, it’s a first-hand battle. For others, it’s a close family member or dear friend. But right here in Eastern Maine, there is great work being done!
The research and treatment at the Lafayette Family Cancer Center is a testament to what our community is capable of when we come together. That’s why we are a sponsor of the EMMC Champion the Cure Challenge - and why we hope you will consider supporting this great event.
EMMC Champion the Cure Challenge is a 58.9 mile Maine Savings-sponsored motorcycle ride. Don't have a bike? You can even choose to be a virtual participant. And remember, every penny raised stays right here in our community to support local cancer research!
